Backyard Proposal | Aziz and Sarah's Covid 19 Propsal Story

Aziz contacted me saying that he was ready to propose to his best friend Sarah! They have been together for 3 years and it was time he did something epic for her. During his planning process, Covid 19 his, causing his plans to change. He still wanted to propose, still wanted it to be epic, it just changed course due to Covid. The new plan was that Aziz would deck out his backyard. He ordered hundreds of rose petals. Dozens of candles. Lined his back deck with tikki torches. AND got fireworks! He thought of every single romantic gesture and went all out for this proposal!

We set a date for the proposal and then we got bad weather. He postponed the proposal by a day, landing the proposal to be on his birthday. Aziz had tricked Sarah into coming over telling her she had to sign some kind of paperwork and that she should dress nice for the occasion. Sarah said she didn’t think anything of it until 20 minutes before she cam over, he was acting weird. Sarah drove over to Aziz’s house, and he greeted her outside and walked her to the back of the house (she knew that was odd but didn’t know why). As they came around the corner, she could see all of the tikki torches lined up, then she saw more candles, and then she saw red balloons and rose petals and it all made sense! Sarah started crying! She knew exactly what was happening.

Aziz graciously lead her to the center of the heart made of rose petals and candles. He shared how much she meant to him, got down on one knee, and he asked Sarah to marry him. She said yes! They embraced and soaked in that moment. Shortly after they took time to breathe, put the ring on her finger, Aziz lit the fireworks! It was such a beautifully epic proposal.
