Stonegate Manor West Michigan Intimate Wedding | Connor and Alison
Allie and Connor planned a wedding for June of 2020, when the corona virus hit we were unsure if they were still able to get married and if so what would it look like. Things kept changing due to the virus but we all remained hopeful. Things started to lift and we found out that we could have a small gathering - Allie worked really hard to change plans, change venues, and make this wedding happen! Allie and Connor got married at Stonegate Manor in Benton Harbor with their family. It wasn’t the original large wedding they had planned, but they had each other, they made their vows and got married. Despite everything against them this year - they had a magical day. Stonegate Manor was beautiful, then we went over to Lake Michigan and had some Corona - because how could you not right now lol - and then we went over to Kalamazoo to take pictures with their pups! I asked Allie to share about her day and this is what she said :
Due to covid we had to downsize our guest list and decided to get married with just our immediate family present at Stonegate Manor. After the ceremony we had food catered and celebrated at our house. Having gathering restrictions was a blessing in disguise. We didn't think we wanted a small ceremony but it turned out to be everything we've dreamt of and more.
“Shelby was awesome to work with and down for anything! She truly cares about you and your day. She drove across the state to take our engagement photos last minute and then dealt with all the rescheduling of coronavirus for our wedding. Shelby is extremely flexible. She made us both feel so comfortable and was so quick at getting us our photos back. Shelby is amazing and we would recommend her to anyone!” - Allie
