Ashleigh and Drew's Detroit Wedding

One of the first things drew and I discussed after we got engaged, was who we wanted to do our wedding photos. We both have creative minds and value the importance of picking the right person to document our day. Shelby was at the top of both our lists. We’d been familiar with her work, as she’d worked with many of our friends. We are ecstatic when we found out she was available on our wedding date. I’d only met Shelby once or twice before we started working with her but I knew she was someone drew and I both would be comfortable with. It was clear from our initial meeting that she would take care of us and make sure we’d capture all the moments we wanted to and everything in between. Shelby is warm, professional and extremely creative. On our engagement session, she was so game to wander around downtown Detroit with us to different rooftops, restaurants and hotels. Drew and I love to adventure in the city and Shelby not only kept up, but found the best spots and moments to capture us. On our wedding day, it was no different. Shelby was with me most the day and documented so many amazing moments and details, many I didn’t know about until getting our photos back. We were blown away that she got many photos back to us the day after the wedding (!!!). Drew and I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the images. From fleeing flower girls, sentimental moments, decor details, sparkler exits and crazy dance floor moves, nothing was missed. We’ve been showing everyone our photos since receiving and enjoy looking at them over and over again. Throughout this whole process, Shelby has been such a cheerleader and encourager. Her goal is to make you look your best while genuinely and creatively representing your relationship through her gift. I can honestly say she was as excited about our special day as we were and it shows in every photo she took.
