Detroit Athletic Club Rooftop Proposal | Michael and Tara

Michael had planned a date night for him and his girlfriend (now fiance) Tara for a beautiful surprise proposal. The plan was to go to the Detroit Athletic Club and sit out on the terrace for dinner. Tara thought it was odd that he asked to sit outside, because he never likes sitting outside, but she didn’t think much of it.

They were seated outside, Michael excused himself for a moment, and when he got back to the table, he got down on one knee and totally surprised Tara! She said yes!

After she said yes the amazing staff of the Detroit Athletic Club brought out some champagne. We took some pictures on the roof looking over downtown Detroit. After taking a few pictures, their family came around the corner and greeted them with open arms to celebrate with them!
