Tyler planned the perfect day to propose to Shelby. He made reservations at the Parc restaurant at Campus Martus Detroit, hired a secret photographer (me!! ahh!!), had their song picked out (press play to the song linked to this blog to get all the feels of their proposal!), and had the perfect ring. It almost didn’t work out when the weather called for rain all day and Shelby getting sick the night before! But, it was a perfect day date with no rain and the two enjoyed their day - little did Shelby know, there was so much more to this date!

After walking around town and grabbing a soft pretzel, Tyler and Shelby walked into Parc for some drinks. Tyler asked for some music - their song played- and he got down on one knee!! He made a speech (that Shelby blacked out on because once Tyler got down on one knee for, there was a ton of excitement she couldn’t focus on what he was saying! it was really happening!) and Tyler asked Shelby to marry him. She said yes!!! They kissed and the whole restaurant cheered for them!

After finishing their drinks and soaking in the moment we walked around Downtown to take some pictures of them being engaged. After smelling all of the wonderful evergreen pines and kissing under the lights, Shelby and Tyler wanted to go back to the DIA for some pictures. This is where they started their day and it became full circle! It was a magical evening.
